about

Emitr embarks us on a captivating journey with the debut EP ‘Grow’, an embodiment of a crafted sound he is only just starting to share with the world. Drawing from the authenticity and spontaneity of nature, the Chilean-born, Barcelona-based artist’s desire to connect with his environment is all-encompassing, as present in the title track, ‘Grow’.

With a life spent on the move, Emitr’s music is about cycles. Whether this be the cycle of life which is omnipresent in the lyrics, or the polyrhythmic and melodic cycles you will find all throughout the EP. They both meet each other to lay ground for the defining feature of this project, as a voice of the message in Grow, or structural elements in Time Backwards and Nostri Casus - Emitr’s vocal experiments are on the front stage of his work.

‘Grow’ is an ode to the cycle of life, to every process that exists within the other.

‘*From the flower of the tree*

*Till the the fruit that has the seeds*

*To the ground that hosts the roots*

*Grow, grow, grow, grow’*
